OT: Is anyone having any issues posting to the board ?

For the past week I have been having issues doing things here at the Altec Board (Hostboard).. Am wondering if any or all are having any issues as well ? Please let me know either in a post or a Pm whatever you can do.. I'm having problems posting replies to threads.With & without quotes..Smilies aren't working either.I have to manually type them in to use them at the moment.Like this for mad. :m a d: without the spaces.

Yes, the site just seems to grind away doing nothing when I use the "reply to thread" button......and that's with Opera. With Firefox, my normal browser, I can't post at all. The entire white space, in the editor, for the message body is gone, and it's all the background gray.

To write this message, I used the "reply" button in your post. My mouse cursor is still spinning, and I see a spinning symbol above the arrow next to the reply button.

Yup almost word for word the same thing happening with me... Thank You ABG for the feedback ! It is appreciated as it helps me to get an idea if it is everyone or just some folk's.I have received PM's on other forums about this so I guess some folks can't do anything here (Posting or PM's)... I've contacted Steven but have yet to here back from him..If anyone notices any other issues I would like to here from you ASAP.Thank You !Regards ~ AB

I just tried replying with quote, and I couldn't.

I considered contacting through AK, but dicided to try another browser instead, which kinda works.

I'm trying to upload a picture....... but apparently I can not.

Yes that is where I heard from other members over at AK...Thanks for the tip on clicking my original reply button as that's the only way I have been able to post.

Sorry guys I was out of town and had limited internet access.
I had the system down most of the day and believe the posting issue to be resolved.
The only issue I am still seeing is the avatars not displaying properly. This is due to the SEO tools we are running and I have contacted the developers for help on this.
If there are any other issues I missed please let me know so I can get them resolved immediately.

I can confirm Steven it is NOT ! I still have to click the reply button in my original post.When I click the reply button at the top of the page that little circle just keeps spinning with nothing happening..The only way I have been able to post is by clicking the reply button in my original post and then it opens the quick reply at the bottom of the page.. I'm using Opera 12.17 build 1863.

One other thing too Steven you CAN NOT edit the posts either once you post it..
