is there any advantage to running a 16 ohm driver? i have two 288/299 carcasses with no diaphrams. and a pair of EV horns. franken HF?

correction there are now ten.

Yes, draws less current = less chance of thermal power distortion/burnout, though for most HIFI/HT use probably a moot point. Also, lower impedance at Fs, so flatter frequency response on the low end and through the XO BW, which can be worthwhile.

made in taiwan. going back.
the seller was very good about it. he even sent me return postage. he said he had assumed they were NOS. he got the lot from a place that was remodeling. seems a lot of stadiums use crap aftermarket stuff. maybe this is why people complain about most stadium sound.
