on facebook recently Danley systems have unveiled what a lot of people consider line arrays. Exodus and G2 while the exodus series does consist of a pair of synergy elements. the way it's configured with the subs just scream LINE ARRAY. (and to me seems it would not be much of a source point.) the G2s seem to be unordinary speakers, but the way the display is configured. you could assume that it's designed to be a stackable/expandable line array also.
am i missing something or is Tom Danley missing and possibly being held captive in a basement somewhere?

The line array is simply a tool. When a better one comes along, line arrays will sell like new multicells.

I was at an outdoor show a couple of weeks ago, and spoke with the lead sound engineer on the gig. They were using a couple of stacks of L-Acoustic K1's. The clarity was really impressive and it was kicking some hellacious SPLs. The show was out on Virginia beach, and really sounded great for a small setup like that.
