Hi GM,

I also noticed those A7 with wings at the side and top, the 511 horn flange is mounted on the top wing and therefore flushed with the front edge of the 828, in fact this seemed to be the practice for both 511 and 811 regardless of XO network used.

Any idea?

Due to the long listening [far-field] distances in prosound apps, not to mention what firing through a movie screen does to speaker acoustics, getting them within a 1/4 WL either side of the XO point is plenty sufficient.

After moving the bracket to and fro, finally settled on the bracket flush with the front edge of 828, with L shape bracket facing backwards, for N1201-8A, looks like the reissue A7
