I got again 604b but found it has equipped with a diaphragm that I never seen before.
Can any one tell what is this?
I has No of G5031 and no other No and it looks newly made.

I've never seen an import phragm with the molded "pillars" for the terminal screws, or lead in conductors that go through the hub in the exact way that traditional Altecs did.
All of the imported phragms i've seen sandwich the lead-ins between the diaphragm material and the hub like late model Altecs and GPAs.
I think the L1 and worn slotted screws are genuine.
Did clever little fingers rebuild a cheap import phragm onto an old hub?
I know there are people out there that use the old hubs for something.
Just my .02....

Not all vegetables make good leaders.
It looks like the one shown in this thread: Altec 19's - just bought from original owner | Audiokarma Home Audio Stereo Discussion Forums
Opinion is only as valid as its verifiable supporting evidence.
It, or parts of it are early. The slot screws as opposed to phillips head. The aluminium coil. Might just be an early NOS?
Early Altec stuff didn't always do part numbers well, and if its from a 604B, well thats 60+ years ago.
It didn't look old.Wonder if it's been in a box and recently put in?

It could be. Or could be as suggested a clever fake.
Some people do put things away for decades, and voila! very valuable NOS.
Its very coarse finished dome reminds me of some cheap Radian? ones I tried in the '80s, but weren't much better sounding than Symbiotiks.

So,,,we are not sure whether this is a genuine or replica.
I bought these 604b pair from a dealer for $3800 and he insists this is genuine. One woofer cone paper ruptured big time and repaired.
I decided to buy this pair thinking if the diaphragms are genuine it is worth. But when thing like this, I am thinking to return.
As I have a 604RWB, maybe later I can make it a pair.
Hmm...what should I do?
Dunno, only know that all the alum. OEM units I've seen had very smooth domes and this is typical of all the early units, with later ones being a bit more satin finished: http://soundup.ru/images/stories/archive/Classic/speakers/western-electric-713b-drivers-and-ks-12024-horn/western-electric-713b-12024-5.jpg
