Can't get to private messages?

AB, I am having issues with preparing messages for posting/replying.

Unless I type very slowly, I get missing lettrs and spes.

Als, Smilies don,t wor and inserted links are plac at the beginning of he message.

This only occurs using IE. Please try FF r Chrome. If your adamant about using IE please add hostboard.com to your compatibility view settings.

The issues should have been resolved on or around 9/7
I had the developer online today and we went through the system again and see no server errors or are able to replicate any issues outside of not using IE in compatibility mode. But that is a vBulletin issue and has nothing to do with HB in itself. As always I am available as John has my personal cell phone and I can be reached via PM as well.

OK, thanks, but what about my problems? Earlier tonight it again kept timing out on me when trying to load the most current post, so had to load the thread, then scroll down and then when I was doing an edit, it gave me the 'kill' message and when I didn't respond it froze up again, changing the text size/type, so had to re-boot it and start all over. ATM it's doing OK though.

What browser are you using? Also there have been numerous back end changes made. Can you please try logging out, clearing your browsers cache and cookies and coming in fresh. What is most perplexing is except for the back end, to control the forum, the front end from the users perspective it is just plain vanilla vBulletin. Once posted, Ill go in and try to edit this post and see if I can duplicate it...

Chrome........... been there, done that the other day and it made no difference. Actually cleared out everything due to a problem with yahoo finance..........no clue what you mean by 'back end' and 'plain vanilla vBulletin'.

I haven't had any problem changing text size/type/color, just that it all changed when it froze in the and couldn't do anything but close the tab and start again with a new tab.

Note that when I clicked on the most recent post link it went into its blank screen, nothing happening 'thing' again, so had to re-boot hostboard and get here from the thread link.

Note that I started to modify the sentence above and it auto enlarged, so stopped in the hope that you can see something 'under the hood', yet typing this note it's working fine.

Strange, really strange since apparently no one else is having the problem and neither was I till recently and surprised my mass clearing the other week didn't solve the problem here too, but no other problems on-line AFAIK.

edit: It just got weirder! In the 'Reply' and 'Preview' panes the sizes were reversed in this paragraph:

One issue I'm having Steven is every time I open hostboard I now have to log in again. Never had to do that before.
