Can't get to private messages?

Seems I have 2 private messages but for some reason I can't get to them. The green "Notifications" up top is blinking, I click on it and it brings me to my notifications. I can see all who have quoted me, that works fine. But no matter what I do, I can't get to my messages. Mailbox is 20% filled.

It also shows up as a private message when someone quotes you. Have you gone through the screen where it says "see quote here" or something? "Here" is highlighted and takes you to the page you were quoted on. If you don't do that for every quote the PM notification will stay up.

Hostboard has been weird for me lately. When I reply to a thread the page errors out. If you hit reply again it double-posts.

Re PMs: Click on 'Settings' - above search pane, then in new page,

Check PM settings via My Settings Panel.

Long time no see!

YES!!! Beginning a few weeks ago it began locking up, timing out, popping up a window that it's no longer responding and do I want to wait or 'kill' it, and often won't load late at night when I have the most time for the net and if I click on a direct to post link it locks up, but if I click the thread, then it's fine to scroll down. Also, just now had to leave the forum a couple of times and return to get the M14 ebay link to work. Ditto your Pano thread link just now.

AB, I am having issues with preparing messages for posting/replying.

Unless I type very slowly, I get missing lettrs and spes.

Als, Smilies don,t wor and inserted links are plac at the beginning of he message.

You too? It's been a series of frozen pages/re-boots to view, post this evening. If I could sleep I wouldn't be wasting my time. I think I'm going back to just posting on the DIYaudio forum.
