I've had a gutful of you insulting me. If you did this to me on the Audio Asylum forum I would use their rules to stop you.

But, YOU STARTED THIS THREAD................. ON THIS FORUM!

A bit of friendly advice, you're letting personal colors show that you may not want everybody who WATCHES this forum to see. You are continuing to do a dis-service to every member of this forum by fueling a debate the rest of the members don't want to have.(not in this time and place, anyway)

Your knowledge and contributions are well respected here, just let this one go. There will be bigger fish to fry in a more appropriate pan.

You may recall that, some years ago, the lack of published posting rules for this forum was raised and Todd gave a commitment that this would be rectified.

Well they will be coming shortly as I guess we need them.. Posting rules are pretty much common sense rules..If you have read posting rules from other audio forums or message boards as you obviously have ? Then you can assume that they will apply here as well.Because they do, with maybe a few exceptions.I will write up some rules and have Todd sign off on them.

The Audio Asylum rules could be used as a reference to get posting rules happening here.

Okay, all -

I have an inner ear problem that has kept me occupied for a few weeks and I didn't see this until now.

That being said, one of the many things that has distinguished our group from all of the others is that WE DON'T FIGHT. We've only had one or two rabble-rousers that I have had to deal with, Romy The Cat being the worst, and, though I hated to do so, I had to ban them.

Think of it - with so many members and being online longer than most other audio forums, we've only had a couple of squabbles, and, as I recall, less than one-half dozen people have been banned. This is attributable to the fact that the ALTEC family is just that - FAMILY, and families are NOT supposed to bicker and fight. I know some DO, but WE DON'T!

So - if you have a "beef" with someone on another forum, LEAVE IT THERE. Don't bring it in here, please!

Thanks Todd for stepping in here ! I'm closing this thread as it will serve no other purpose then to continue this argument...Like Todd said that's not what this forum is about...

And soon will be deleted after all interested parties had a chance to read it.
