Altec 604 "FrankenFrames" on ebay

A pair of 604e motors with later 16" frames. It doesn't surprise me that someone did this. I mean if I had a pair of 604e with bent frames this is what I would do too.

What surprises me is that someone bid on these. Starting bid is 479$. No cones and no HF diaphragms.

Even after they recone them they will not be worth what an original pair of 604e would be.
