I found what look to be a mint pair of 605-B's in rather ratty cabinets near Boise for $600.

Plus, some 902s in bad company:

Those horns look like MRII542's, that square plate is the Altec 35626 support bracket.

A little pricey, though considering its relative rareness, maybe a bargain:

    Total inflation from January 1947
    to January 2017 is 1,029.48%
    $330 after inflation is $3,727.30

    Re: 605A Pics

It took me a while to understand that two different parts use that square plate. Once i dragged home some MR594's it became obvious. The 25544 has 4 studs welded in place that match the 4 bolt pattern of certain MR horns where the 35626 is just a flat plate with holes in it. Those MRs have recesses in the mounting flange to clear the 3 bolt heads securing the adapter to a large format 3 bolt Altec driver. I think this may have been a transitional thing since eventually the newer large format drivers would have both 3 and 4 bolt patterns drilled and tapped in them which would render the adapter unnecessary.

    This is a 25544 and an MR594 throat/mounting flange:
