Altec Amplifier ; What do I have here??

I knew Tom Reichenbach in the early 2000s. He was running Cinemag at the time. He drove us to lunch in his van a couple of times to his favorite Cuban restaurant. He had a cigar box from his dad containing all these photos and more which he lent me to scan. His dad Ed Had worked at Altec from about 1943 to 1947 and was heavily involved in the amplifier design, development and layout. Tom's understanding was that Ed's main influence was an Englishman named Colin Campbell who was plant manager at the time and taught him much about magnetic circuit design. No mention was made of Ercell Harrison; Tom did not seem to be familiar with him.
