    Re: OT: For WiFi/Bluetooth Users

I just got a pair of LS50 wireless speakers for the cottage. Fantastic wired audio quality for their size. They pretty much do everything from a wired connectivity perspective. The iOS and Android apps are atrocious. You need a tweaked high performance wireless network to get any kind of reliable WiFi interoperability with the device apps. I don't understand why Kef (Gold Peak - that may explain it) decided to release this junk WiFi control software. Bluetooth works as expected.

    Cheers,

    Greg

    Thanks for the link, Mah.
FWIW, Kef's 2003,2004, etc. timeline of tracks is a good thing.

I posted on April,1 and the link was to a Kef aerosol room treatment to improve WiFi/Bluetooth transmission. I guess on April,2 they pulled the spoof and restored their usual content.

In a similar vein, does anyone here besides me subscribe to Danley's newsletter? The April 1st one is a hoot assuming you know something about their product's various designs.
