I have Win 7. Click TOOLS, Menu bar top left. Scroll down to Compatibility View Settings.

Couldn't find anything like you're describing, but did a bit of Googling and found there's a link in 'maintenance' that apparently will either turn on or install a feature to run older programs, but need to do a complete BU first, just in case things go sideways and me knowing about enough WRT computers to put on the head of a pin.

I run IE11. You may have different browser.

I use Google Chrome, so guessing I'll have to find out more about the 'old' programs feature b4 committing, though I imagine I'll need it to run all the 32 bit programs I have on this 64 bit machine.
