The stock market's possibly putting in a major many-year / long-term top, last two months of action ( "exhaustion GAP", and three subsequent "one-day-reversals" in APPLE stock ) ......audio equipment .....can easily follow. We will see !!

Don't you fellas see the irony?

Where the 515B, C, and G were designed specifically as horn drivers, the 515E shouldn't be used in a horn.

Plus these are way overpriced for the butchered woofers they are. There is another cut side 515 that has been on ebay for around a year. The guys has a BIN of 500$ and won't come down in price.

I don't see a huge need for woofers to fill 210 cabs. Lol

Re: The "rather Common cut frame" 515s

Some silly person wasted $620 on these......
    I think.
As the same pair appeared almost immediately relisted. Sounds very much like shill bidding, done to inflate the price using a dummy account!!

If you watch enough, 515Es come up on fleapay unbutchered for less...

Re: The "rather Common cut frame" 515s

looks like the seller got disgusted and reposted the listing. it's now a BIN @ $630. and the shipping is now listed as $112.
Also, the original ad was posted by stone_age_stereo the new ad is by pennetrode. what gets me is why would someone saw off the part of the frame where the spokes and mounting bolts line up, instead of between them??

Some enemy of the USA dropped a "dumb bomb" on us sometime in 2006-2007, it has wiped out over half the population with chronic retardism and the effects are still spreading. Just look around, you needn't go far.

These are still on ebay. They are now listed as an auction with a starting bid of 99 cents. That means someone will buy them. Any guesses how much they will go for? My guess is 300$

Re: The "rather Common cut frame" 515s

I expect they will bring 3 to 5 times what they're worth.

Don't quote me. But, i think Bill will sell you a new frame for about 55 bucks. So, add that to the cost of a recone to make them good as new again.

Or, you could just buy 4 clean used series II 421's and damp the domes and have something pretty close for a lot le$$

So what you're saying is "jack the horn up and put a new car under it".
