New NGAS Project: The UREI 813A (Altec 604)

The North Georgia Audio Society has begun a new project with the UREI 813A studio monitor which uses a proprietary Altec 604 with a UREI horn.

Sounds like a great project! I will be following this one.

I run a pair of Urei 604G in 612 cabs.

Great to see the work and the reviews that you do on Altec speaker systems. Looking forward to this review with recommended modifications also.

Good work you and your group is doing, keep it up! I am a huge fan of the 604 g they are great speakers, need great recordings that work with them, and amps that match them. The micro details they produce and imaging are uncanny. I recently sold some mint M19s that were tested by GPA with all the "considered" correct parts, and it amazes me how different these 2 speakers sound. Love them both but if you want to hear behind a recording and hear things most haven't the 604s win....
