Phil G, Elitopus, GM and the rest of you folks in the zone, if this thing passes near you, we will want to know you fellas are ok when you can let us know.
Hopefully, the Canadians are sending down a big enough blast of cool autumn air that it will push Irma off the coast and back out into the Atlantic.
We've had an unusually wet summer here in my part of the northeast, just under 2 inches in the last 3 days. Our ground is saturated and all eyes are on Irma for what she can potentially do to us up here better than 100 miles inland.

Thanks Bowtie, I appreciate the good thoughts coming our way. I am planning on coming up your way if the storm is going to hit us. I have been wanting to visit my family in NY, and enjoy some of the great fall weather.
Btw, my wife said I can pick one pair of speakers to take with. Lol
Saturday will be crunchtime. all the tracks and predictions good or bad will pan out. what ever happens is in G-ds hands. tomorrow i'll be working on my car. hurricane or not I'll need my car

Yeah all the gas stations are out of gas here. The stores are sold out of everything. You would think it's the damn apocalypse or something the way people are acting.
I threw up some plywood on my windows. Same pieces I used last year for Matthew.
We are in a mandatory evacuation zone, but did not leave last year when we were supposed to.
I hate Florida

Prayers and hopes that the storm will do a quick right turn to head far out to sea and peter out there. GM and all others there in the predicted path, our thoughts are with you and hopes that all will be okay! We have family in Georgia in the Gainesville area, so hoping if and when it makes it up to there the winds will lower and just be a strong wind storm or something. Be safe!
The storm is supposed to weaken now by the time it gets to St Augustine. We are planning on staying now. Have the windows boarded up, and some extra food and water.
Sounds like it's still going to hit Miami hard. We will see I guess.
The wife wasn't going to let me take any speakers anyways, when she realized they would take up the whole van. I would have been lucky to take just my duplex drivers.
I am enjoying some pre-hurricane music. Man the 604s sound good today.
Look like the west coast of FL is going to get hit hard now. Dumb meteorologists had everyone on the FL east coast evacuate. Now there is a gas shortage on the FL west coast. Sucks for people trying to leave.
This is why so many people don't take the weather guys seriously. They are guessing what it going to happen just like the rest of us.
