I have been over my limit ages ago,
Now I must do acrobatics to show you something.
It's totally inefficient and will discourage members to use this site.
If someone can do something or change sites it'san emergency.

I agree. For a forum that depends on members sharing gear and build progress, it?s really counterproductive. Is the only way to pay for picture posting through ad sales on the site?
Audio advertisements on an audio forum can lead to a conflict of interest for management with regard to member discussion vs keeping the advertiser happy. From what I have seen on other forums the advertisers hold sway.
Non-audio ads, maybe?

My photobucket account must be the odd exception. I use the img code to post here and have never had an issue.

It will get to you. Mine didn't go away right away, either. They've switched third party hosting to a fee based system, that is quite expensive. I've supposedly exceeded my limit. I suspect it's simply a slow roll out of the new system and no limit has actually been reached. I don't have any where near the storage limit used, and many of the pictures are posted to old threads across several forums that likely don't get accessed all that much. One day my pictures posted, the next they all turned to the over limit message when accessed through a forum.Originally Posted by Old Guy
