Drivers from 1966 825 cabinet compatible with 828 cab?

Thanks.... driving 300 miles to Modesto to get em Wednesday. I'm excited- I've always wanted some of these. I have the impression that there are some preferred drivers for these- and I'm guessing the favorite cabinet is the early plywood 828 with the rails on back. But this will do for now- drivers were free and boxes are $500 total. So I'm in the game for $500 total- can't complain. I work full time plus some, so getting them up and running might be a while...

I'm sure you'll be glad you joined the 825/828 club. It's nice you have the complete driver set. That will make it easier to get them going.

Hope you have a pickup truck or van to transport those cabs. Mine took up the whole back of my stow and go Caravan

I think I saw those on CL in Modesto. They look super clean and minty and reasonably priced. Good luck!
