capacitors for my dead N-500-E XO's

I put my kits (1966 416A 16 Ohm, 802D 16 ohm, 511B, N-500-E XOs) in my 828 cabinets, but no HF and weak/garbled at one LF. Dug thru tar and wax paper to get to the old caps in the XO's. Info I have from spec sheet I found on line from "Peerless Electrical Products, Division of Altec Lansing" says caps are 4uF and 18.9uF across LF. My plan now is to get some Russian PIO 250 or 160 volt MBGO or K75-10 types. They have 4uF. How do I get 18.9 uF? There are 10 uF's readily available to make 20 uF- is being off 1.1 uF a problem here? At this point, I believe resistors and inductors or OK. Any advice appreciated. This is not necessarity my ultimate set up- just wanted to experience the 500Hz XO sound. Thanks, Kip.....

You could always just use oil caps (motor run) for the values, and run Russian K75-10 etc for bypass caps. You can get low uf, and high voltage value caps for the bypass. At a really decent price from ussr-tubes.com. That's where I get my Russian caps

Since the 18.9 is "shunting" HF across the woofer channel, cap quality isn't nearly as critical as the capacitance value, IMNSHO. You could use cheap NPE's, and "bank" as many as necessary of available values to reach the target capacitance.

I got sets of matched Russian PIOs of the correct combined value comming from Bulgaria- a week or two. Guy on eBay (elecments13) has many cap matched sets with values listed.

Did you get K75-10 caps? I use those and K75-12 in two pairs of Altecs. They sound really nice!

Caps are MBGO PIO. I don't think I could get values of 4uF with the K75-10- or at least I only saw small values on eBay.

AT ussr-tubes.com they have values in K75-10 up to around 10uf. The normal values like 1uf, 1.5uf, 2.2uf, 3.3uf, and 4.7uf. Probably some others too. You would have to combine some caps to make the 4uf you need.
The prices are great. Only problem is it takes a few weeks to come from Russia.

For the past several days, ussr-tubes website has been down. Did not see those larger values on eBay. Since it seems popular to combine non-equal caps in parrallel to achieve a target value, that would work fine. I've already ordered the MBGOs, but these are so cheap, I could order also just for variety of choice. Yes- shipping time is unfortunate- here in US, we're spoiled by things like Amazon same-day (!) delivery- sure greases the wheels of consumerism......
