Hmm, posted this in the wee hours the other night, but don't see it! GRRRR

Ditto; only looked to see if 'something' loaded, so not just a newbie issue. GRRRR ^2

No, your fine..... I just wanted to make sure you knew where to find the functionality you wanted, and in turn found a problem myself.

These are problems that have existed with this hostboard forever. I love this site, but coming here usually involves at least some measure of frustration. Oddly, the site worked great for me over the last two weeks. Now it's back to slow, slow, slow. No redirects, though.

    Well - y'all have been a fun bunch, but I do know most of y'all from elsewhere - and frankly, rather that dealing with S L O W B O A R D,
the quirky jerky, and the other issues here due to 25 year old software on an old Commodore 64 or ... whatever runs this HostBored place,
I prefer chatting with y'all elsewhere.

The problem I've been having recently, it that pages don't fully load. I normally open threads into another tab, and I often have to stop and reload each of those tabs. Otherwise my browser just sits grinding away forever. Also, sometimes when I reply, the reply box only shows for a brief moment, and then disappears. I have to reload that page again, maybe a few times before the white box will stay long enough to type. I don't seem to have troubles losing my composed, but un-posted messages, Thankfully.

It is interesting that various members, including myself, experience different issues. In some cases the problems come and go. For some to have to change from the most popular web browsers to make an improvement is ridiculous.

Posts take extra time for me because keystrokes often do not register so I need to constantly correct the messages as I go. Then there are the videos that don't show unless I switch to Win 7 Compatibility Mode.
Opinion is only as valid as its verifiable supporting evidence.

it's not just this site. depending on whatever update windows throws out. some times my computer goes from running ok to throw it against the wall and stomp on it. facebook can be the worst, but this site seems to give me the least grief. sometimes if you pause too long it will hang up to where the only way to get out is to hold the power button down till it shuts down. sometimes it runs fine.
