Sorta. I've been getting 504 errors for the past couple of days. Even today, I had to reload pages a few times before I'd get anywhere. Each page I clicked on started out as a 504, and then reloading would get me a partial page, and then reloading again, I'd finally get here.

Exactly the same here as ABG has mentioned.
504 error for the past 4 days.
Just to compose & reply to this post it took nearly 15 attempts.

Hostboard.com's reliability is awful. This group should find a new server before it loses all of its members due to impatience.

I'm looking for a better location. The problem is in finding a place where we can copy and upload the vast database we have here, so as not to lose it. If anyone has suggestions, let me know!

get a hard copy of whatever data base you can up till now. it would be better to salvage that and move to another site than languish here. at worst you'll have a searchable database. at best a competent webmaster can reconstruct it. if i remember, more than a few of us were willing to chip in
