Again on short notice, sorry about that folks.

Address is 100 Frontage Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
We will be highlighting TUBE systems as there is a lot of interest in that.
Flea market as usual.

Hope some of you can make it.

Less than a week to go folks! We "may" have a set of A-7 Altecs for demo purposes, it's the logistics of getting them here that is the hangup.
Anyway, I hope a few members make it.
gearfreak, I sent you a reply a few days ago.

We visited Cherry Hill for a wedding on 2.10-12.83 and were gobsmacked how few folks could drive in slick, heavy snow conditions; we just assumed that this was a common occurrence everywhere up in the Northeast. Since we were the only ones in the group that could drive thanks to 'cutting our teeth' on Eel slick Ga. red clay, didn't get to see much of it, but the highlight was at a '50s era diner way up a hill on the right ~ right after crossing over from Philly in the wee-wee hours.
What a hoot! Except for the Yankee accents, it was like many of the ones I grew up frequenting, right down to a couple of fights! Can't believe I once looked no different, what with the pegged jeans, white 'T's [minus the cigarette pack rolled up in the sleeve since I didn't smoke], DA haircuts; and the women! Had some right pretty ones up there, especially my 'transplanted' one.
Cherry Hill Mall was impressive, though all the stores were closed except for a Bavarian? style tavern that kindly stayed open for us, serving up some fine sandwiches, etc., conversation. Southern Hospitality at its finest!
Anyway, wish I could attend, but most days it's all I can do to make the round trip to the mailbox.

Loud is Beautiful if it's Clean! As always though, the usual disclaimers apply to this post's contents.

I am almost certain that I remember the Feb '83 snowstorm. 2ft. on our side of the river iirc. Mom had a '78 Grand Prix, we had snow tires for it but probably didn't bother to put them on. Being a nurse she would have been one of the few 'allowed' out on the roads if a SOE had been declared.
I like to think that I am not afflicted with the South Jersey nor Phila accent per se, though the tell is there when I ask you for a glass (now bottle) of 'wutur'. :-)
Well our second AK get together is in the books. About 15 or 20 folks showed up, I got to meet Gearfreak, and a good time was had by all. We swapped a few amps in and out of a system that we had set up, all that was missing were some big Altec speakers.
Hopefully we get to do it again in the spring.
Next week is another AK get together but this time it's down in MD at Jim's house. After that in the beginning of November is the Capitol Audio Fest. Fall sure is a busy time of year for audio buffs in our area.
Hope I get to meet some more folks from this forum.
