    8000 series LF configuration choices

Some content fodder for your amusement this slow evening.

So I've reconfigured and now am looking to try my 8000 series cabinets for < 200hz , maybe < 300hz if I have to.
These will be on their own channel via DSP and steep XO (because why not, it can).

Parroting here: 'the room dominates' < 200hz, so placement options increase - line of sight is not required, but they won't be too far away from the MF, HF.
They can be upright or laid on their sides.

So the q is: (of the options below) what's your choice of box and what would you load it with for best outcome?

    -SPL needn't be extreme.
    -The target is 'hifi'/ extension.
-They will be against walls, but corners not guaranteed (I have one good corner). Facing into the good corner presumably is also an option.

    materials:

    drivers:
    416-8C (x2)(GPA)
    515-8G (x4)

    cabinets:
8256 (x2) (one or two drivers, I have a plate to cover the unused if need be)
    8154 (x2) (one drivers)

All ports can be sealed. With the choice of sealing one or two in the 8256.

    random config examples:

    8256 + 416 + 515 (1 port sealed, on side)
    or
    8256 + 515 (unsealed, upright)
    or
    8154 + 416 (sealed, on side)
    ...

There's also the possibility to use all 4 cabs down the road, but I'd start with just 2 as a baseline.
Cab specs in attached pic, if it attaches...

Edit: attachment worked. Lmk if it doesn't load for you and I'll transcribe the info.

    thanks!

    Greets!

    Baffle F3 = ~4560"/width.

Loading woofers with markedly different specs, especially WRT Fs, in vented alignments can have one 'hogging' most of the power, making the other little more than a 'slave' unless tuned to the higher of the two or in some cases the mean between the two.

All things considered, load all the 515s in the 8256s and the 416s in the 8154s and some/all [re]tuned depending on the app[s] with the 515s limited to 0.707xFs if necessary to get them down to the 416s for 'fill' or maybe make the 515s the mains with the 416s as 'fill'.
