    But it has LED lights and beast mode. What more could you want?

    And I bet they?re more efficient to run than those old heavy Ashly amps

    who could not like the "beat-driven party lights" with 500 ground pounding watts,,,, and thats not all,, don't forget the "IPX4 rating, it is a waterproof speaker that means it can be taken to the pool party as well as to the late night after party."

    I 'auditioned' these at a Fry's earlier this year and frankly have heard worse in the low end PA market, but seeing the Altec label on them and what it once stood for was a real 'gut wrencher' for me.

    Still, for low buck classic R&R, country, etc., party speakers.........though the kids in store sure liked the light 'show' it would have to be disconnected in my case. When cranked up a bit they 'yodeled' some due to the rather odd cone flex, like the VC wasn't quite dead center of the cone. Made Dwight Yoakam a bit of a parody.
