The 604 and 604B horns were true multicellular horns. The 604C-G used what amounts to a sectoral horn with little "vanes" in it. It doesn't perform nearly as well as the true multicellular horn does. GPA is, at last look, making the "B" horn again (Bill has the mold) and putting them on 604's. They work amazingly well. In fact, he's making the UREI horn also, and, when I looked at the TEF measurements for both, they're nearly identical!

Ya but Uncle Willy has priced himself out of the market. At least for us mere commoners. Just as I was going to pull the trigger on a set of 604-8h's , they doubled in price. He and Jeff Peace must be going after the asian and colorado market.

I was in the same boat too... about to buy a pair, and bam!

But, My wife, then girlfriend bought me some 19's and I found some 604's that were in Urei cabs, so it all came out in the end!

I might still buy a set of the new 604's in the future after I sell of some extra gear/speakers though....

Well, it's not Bill's doing. It's the people who've bought GPA.

AND - Jeff Peace has been out the door for a long time.

Good to hear Todd, Hopefully, life has been treating you good also. I'm about to order more 515 lf kits to recone my 421-h8's. They work great on old 421's.

And to add this new website is working great.
