The link has some comments by Dr Bruce Edgar on the Drisko Horn.
Apparently Edgar was visiting the home of a fellow scientist in
Southern California and listened to his home system.

The system consisted of a 66"-high corner horn somewhat similar
to a Klipschorn, but of independent design. Anyhow, Dr Edgar was
so impressed by the sound of the system that he started his
notable iconoclastic quest to revisit the science of horn design.

The system appears to have been an all-horn 2-way design from the
early 50s utilizing a pre-war Western Electric HF horn -
probably a 24A or 26A.The HF driver was the post-war JBL clone
of the Western Electric 594A - a JBL 375 ( this would have required
new mounting holes in the receiver-attach flange as the 594A
    has a different bolt circle).

So this impressive early 50s system appears to have been
influenced by the JBL HARTSFIELD - only done right
with much better LF & HF horn loading.
