While shopping for Christmas presents the other day at Best Buy....(i was getting my youngest brother a gift card), i noticed a large assortment of designs, shapes, sizes and packaging on all the different gift cards they had to offer.
While looking through them, I came across the "gamers" gift card. on the back was a coupon for 5 dollars off any game or accessory (i don't remember if there was a price limit on the item purchased or not.
this struck me as odd, and gave me an idea. any time a you are purchasing a game, it makes total sense to first purchase a gift card. put 5 bucks on the card, open it up, and then use the just purchased gift card and the coupon which would give you 5 dollars off the purchase of the game.
i really am a genius.

Just remember that the gamer card does not apply to computer games. I'm pretty sure anyway... I think I read that somewhere.

I use to do it all the time on dial up...I would start it before I went to bed and they would generally be done by the time I woke up or during the next day while I was at school...

many many months ago i saw the creator of bumfights on conan. or maybe it was on leno....hell, it coulda been on carson. I dont remember.
Anyway, this guy was the biggest fucking asshole you could imagine. You could tell he went on expecting to be Mr. Popular because he makes "cool" videos, but the crowd actually kinda booed him. Then he tried defending what he was doing and all that shit. What a jackass. Even the host (either Conan, Jay or Carson) said that they disagreed with what he was doing.
No wait! It was fuckin' Tom Green! That's who it was.
