Even though this loss really hurt, I was so proud to be in the stands and watching those MEN play their hearts out. Russell Hull was a MAN among boys (sorry for the pun if you know what I mean). Constantly getting tripled team, he gave it everything he had. That was one among many highlights that I have enjoyed so much from this season.
Our fans were up cheering almost the entire time and I have NEVER witnessed such sportsmanship as our team and fans showed today. The players never retaliated against the trash talking and questionable calls but they never backed down from anyone.
At the trophy presentation, our fans cheered just as loud if not louder for Franklin when the Franklin players walked out and received their championship trophy.
Losing sucks but the character and moral excellance that these players and fans possess shows as they do what is right on the field and in life.
All of you players are someone that young people can look up to and you have set a good example for everyone.

russell is the man, i've know his bro for a long time and played a lil b-ball with russell. him and derek both are great kids with good heads on their shoulders. great job guys. you might not have got the gold, but you got memories that you'll have for the rest of your life, and that to me is truly better than gold any day

We are all proud of all the team.Justin Hamilton said it best when he said he would give up his career to have been on the field with these players. And that was win or lose. How much more could be said about playing in this game. Hold your heads up boys,you gave it all you had. Go Greenwaves!!!

I hate to see this group go. Makes it even worse that Alec Osbourne could still play 2 more years.

He just turned 17 and he's a sr. He didn't hold back. It might be 1 year, I'm not sure when the date is that you can be 18. Either way, they could have him for at least one more and I wish they did.
