Clintwood Tournament

What are the results for the night games tonight?

I know Pound beat Norton today and Kelly beat Ervinton in the 2nd consolation game. Who won/is winning the Clintwood/Castlewood and Haysi/Tazewell games?

Clintwood/Castlewood was close throughout. I believe the final was 56-52 or something like that. Clintwood wore down a little toward the end and the Castlewood press just took over. Clintwood will win some ball games in the LPD.

Tazewell was destroying Haysi when I left at halftime. It was 54-28. Tazewell is VERY good. I don't think Castlewood will be able to hang with them in the championship.

Wasn't Tazewell's win over Burton their first of the year after 4 or 5 losses?

Could be that the tournament is a little down...

All I know is that Tazewell is by far the best basketball team that I have seen in a while.

i haven't seen them play, but some burton fans say this is one of burton's worst teams in a long, long time. tazewell didn't exactly blow them out of the water.

watch gate city and lebanon play if you want to see good teams.

don't know about that. Haysi played pretty bad D tonight (or no D at all). imo..Castlewood is just as good or better than Tazewell. i think Castlewood just might win the tourney. no team in this tourney is unstoppable. i think 2 or 3 teams coulda won it. is there a team in the region that's supposed to be THE team this year? who? seems fairly down overall.

I'm surprised Clintwood was able to hang with Castlewood. Clintwood may be ready to shock some people this year if that is the case.
