Castlewood won the sub regions last night in Coeburn. I think Kelly and P.V followed them up in 2nd and 3rd. A kid from kelly showed some awfull sportsmanship with a headbutt then follwoing it up by just going after a kid that was dominating him. He got kicked out of the tourney. Other than that is was a good night of wrestling. Pound and possibly Burton had their first ever LPD individual champs. Not sure about the history of Burton tho. Rye Cove may have had there first lpd champ to

Someone from Kelly being unsportsmanlike? I would have to see that to believe. Nothing like that ever happens!!! haha..... Let me guess.... he probably didn't get in any trouble either ?

Of course he didnt get in trouble it was that "mean" Rye Cove kids fault that was beating him. If Rye Cove would have just done less winning and more loosing it would have never happened. Everybody in the gym saw the mean Rye Cove kid winning the match.

then apparently you don't know Coach Owens, and you don't know the pride JJK has in their wrestling program. The higher-ups may let it go, but my guess is Monday evening this unsportsmanlike act will be made up with his vomit.

Some folks from Kelly said the young wrestler was done for the season. I believe if ur ejected from any athletic competition. VHSL says u miss next 2 games/matches & in this case if that's correct he's done.

As someone said earlier his season is over. He stormed by the coach and nothing was said. Kid probly hurt them in the final standings. Not sure how it would have panned out if he would have got points for advancing and stuff. Regions are Sat at Castlwood.

Caleb Bartee is the first wrestler in RC history that I know of, but has won his weight class each of the last two years as well if I am not mistaken. He took 3rd in state last year I believe.
