Is the trib in movies starting to follow a downward trend ?

Hello my friends,

I have no problem to admit that besides my passion to read/write trib/sexfight stories, I also do like to watch adult videos with a lot of trib.

Last years were full of it. I dare to say that since 2013 and on, trib followed an upward thread in adult video companies. Till a few months ago, you could easily find adult videos with a lot of hot erotic scenes full of trib.
Trib became a separate category. You could choose to search for videos containing trib.

However, all these good news started to miss...

Recently, the trib scenes started a downward thread. You can still find it in adult films but not as often as before.
In addition,as I said before, during these "good years" many films have been shot and their hot trib scenes were advertised and promoted by the adult videos companies.
Now, almost all the new ads about lesbian scenes advertise and promote erotic scenes without trib. Or with a very few scenes containing it. Or for much less time. They show all the rest (fingering, kissing, toys, strap-ons, 69)but not a lot of trib. Not often at least.

It started to be the same asback in years before 2000 !
The only way to enjoy trib scenes now is to search for films shot in years before 2018. Of course, there are exceptions ; it is not a general rule, but it seems to be a bitter truth.

I constantly watch porn for many years so I know what I am talking about.

To explain it, I think two possibilities :

1) people who like trib in adult videos are less now than before. Adult video companies sensed it and now they produce/show/ad/promote it less than before. It is a pity, but now my personal taste speaks. Each with hiw own taste.

2) I know that many lesbian women are fans of trib. They have publicly said about it. Though, in the other hand, there are many lesbians who hate trib. They consider it as a show for men, they do not accept that two women may make love using trib and to really enjoy it. I have read posts/articles about these two opinions. Written or said by real lesbian women. I watched them to speak or I read their articles followed by their photo.

Here is the problem... Last years women started to have no problem to admit that they look porn. Lesbian porn. They have also no problem to express their dislikeness about trib, if they are in the category of trib haters. They speak loudly about it, they write to adult video companies about it. They are a branch of new customers in adult video companies, so these companies and the whole porn industry now they take under consideration, they value the opinion of these women.

Just thoughts. You may agree with me or not.Being for many, many years a devoted trib fan, I am sensitive in anything about trib, I notice any change, big or small, about it. Even in this board, about stories... But this may be another story...

I rather think it's fog horns versus radar mapping/GPS and external changes. While artificial intelligence constantly grows in areas that do not require abstract thought and human idiosyncrasies and thereby enables aggregators to generate traffic, there's also an element of renewed misogyny. Providers have become split not just on how they should distribute, but also on who to cater to. There's a commercially significant crowd tied to such talking heads like Alex Jones, who already believe , and is reinforced on a daily basis, that because sex is owed to them literally in the form of fantasy they purchase (or leech), they're the farthest in their generation from women, who as lesbians and bisexuals wish to enjoy such content for the quality, which in this sense means an erotic fantasy from women by women for women.

Also, to elaborate on the metaphorical fog horn, technological change isn't just because younger people use social media connected aggregators to find content, there's a not so slight concern of big data mining and clandestine intelligence service data collection. As such, polls based on what searches change in which trend are but cheat sheets when it comes to fetish, since most people sensitive to such things search incognito.

I'm not an oracle so I can't claim to know just how much fetish producers spend on the market research, but rest assured, major changes in the industry come from perceived or actual cost-effectiveness.

I don't really know for 10years ago because the only videos I found were with weird fake boobs women.

As for today it's pretty rare and the ones that come out are bad. There's no energy at all. it feel super fake. Actual pornstar do it better when they do. But it's still veryrare.

My experience is that there is plenty of trib available on the major sites (PornHub, XHamster, etc). My chief complaint is that most of the major sites seem to have the same collection of clips. ALL of them contain the same standard group of trib clips from TribGirls, which are now old and grainy and not pleasant to watch.

There are some occasional new trib videos out there, and when you see the much better overall quality, they're quite nice to watch. But it seems to me that there just aren't enough of them being produced and one has no choice but to re-visit Nina, Denice, Eva, Lucille...and all the other TG stalwarts who helped to popularize this most intimate (it seems to me, but what do I know?) form of the woman to woman sexual experience. So, in that sense, perhaps there is a falloff.

Just strictly my own opinion, most of the major sites are, in terms of trib, becoming stale and boring.

Or, as CFL40 has proffered, perhaps it is all market driven and/or, in some heinous way, Alex Jones is behind this. (CFL40 :))
