Black pepper futures further receded on weak demand towards the end. Buyers are avoiding fresh deals hoping that prices will decline further in the next few days on weak export demand. June contract plunged Rs 143 at Rs 16,816 a quintal and traded in the range of Rs 17,010-16,790 a quintal. July contract lost Rs 146 a quintal at Rs 17,075 a quintal and fluctuated between Rs 17,283 and 17,040 a quintal. Volumes in June and July contracts recorded at 5,996 and 805 tons respectively.
