Dave you should let us help you write a book [img]eek.gif[/img] no really, we can toss you lots of ideas better yet..........let us see some of your writings....k, so here ya go...your very own topic....we'll be waiting to see whatcha got over there that you have never let us see (books that is).

When you get stumped and feel like that new one is kicking your ass, post us a paragraph and let us finish the sentence for you, it might not be the professional version like yours but hey maybe at least you would get a chuckle out of how "we'd do it" LOL.....

"Childhood Lost"

sit a little while
and wait
cartoons will come
soon enough.

no child,
turning up the clock
won't help.
when the summer-dusk sky
is pink
the sky rains cherry popsicles
and tricycles go by
on two wheels
propelled by handle-bars.

the Popsicle Man.

after he comes
round ended popsicle sticks
grind
against cement sidewalks
and become spears
and knives
for noble warriors.

in backyards
half-naked summer-tan
little bodies
stand in line
waiting for a turn
under the sprinkler
and Kool-Aid makes a million
years later...

summer nights are dances
instead of hideandgoseek...

summer days are
ice-tea and cokes...
and no
one remembers

when it
was
different.

we walked in golden fields
my friends and i.
