Have you ever been involved with someone who's married?.. Do you feel its wrong, if you know they are married? Or have you been married and still had someone on the side?
On one hand I count the reasons
I could stay with you
And hold you close to me,
all night long.
So many lover's games
I could play with you
And on that hand
I see no reason why it's wrong
But on the other hand,
There's a golden band
To remind of someone
who would not understand
On one hand I could stay
and be your loving man
But the reason I must go is on the other hand
In your arms I feel the passion,
I thought had died
When I looked into your eyes
I found myself
When I first kissed your lips I felt so alive
I've got to hand it to you girl,
you're something else
But on the other hand, There's a golden band
To remind of someone
who would not understand
On one hand I could stay
and be your loving man
But the reason I must go is on the other hand

Let's look at this in a different way.
I was married.
You was married.
We slept together the first night we met, repeated it the second night.
My conscience? = clear.
does yours bother you? didn't think so.
haha...its ok then? no? i dunno?

I know it's wrong but, Sometimes things just happen.. Not always the right way to go about things, but life is not perfect.. I have tried to learn with age and hope that I don't make the same mistakes over..

hhhhhmmm tough subject!!
Ok, I've been on both sides of the fence! And the one thing I have always found to be true, no matter what your intensions are, no matter how good you think you are at hiding it....someone ALWAYS gets hurt. Also, the truth ALWAYS comes out!
For exaple...I found out after my divorce, my ex husband, one of his good friends, his own friend BUSTED him out. They told me, "every single time we went out on our boys nights out, as soon as we pulled into the parking lot of the club, his wedding ring came off".
I have done my fair share to, and although there is NO exscuse for it, mine was due to the physical, mental and sexual abuse my ex husband put me through. That's not an exscuse BUT, even what I did was wrong.
Nowadays...I'm a completly different person. I think if you find something so good and so true, like I have found with my boyfriend, don't let it go. Hold onto it with everything you have, like your life depended on it. And don't mess it up with something as stupid as cheating.
Now I don't even go to the club without my man. If he doesn't go, I don't go and vice versa. But now when I see or hear a man OR a woman out in the club who's married and see them hitting on someone and trying to take someone home, I go up and ask them, "How would you feel if you were the one sitting at home right now and your husband/wife,significant other was in your place right now here at this bar..what would you want them to do?? Because I have been in the other persons shoes, sitting at home wondering and even a few times knowing that my husband was out doing something he wasn't suppose to be doing. I know what it feels like to be the one who is being cheated on and not only does the person sitting at home get hurt, but it makes them question their value, self asteem, the value of their love. It does alot mentally, physically and emotionally to the person sitting at home.
So in my opinion, cheating is wrong. If you are with someone and you even think of cheating on them, at all for any reason if it even crosses your mind, then you need to cut them loose until you are ready to spend the rest of your life with one person. Cut them loose, have your wild flings, sow your wild oats whatever, but cut the other person loose in the relationship before you do..atleast give them that much so they don't end up looking like a fool or hopefully not get hurt AS bad. If you are with someone and it's not going right for any reason enough that you want to cheat on them and you can't be faithful to them..then there is something wrong, and you need to end it before the shit just gets deeper. If your with someone you say you love and even you think you love..if you even think of cheating on them or actually go through with it, then you don't really love them. That's the worst thing you could ever do to the other person....and once that trust is gone, there is no getting it back and even if you do, it won't be as much trust as there was before. Trust is the most important thing in a reltionship.
The grass may appear greener on the other side at times, but if you take care of your own lawn and nurture it, love it and give it special care and attention your OWN grass will be even greener!
Just my 2 cents!

"The Thunder Rolls"
Three thirty in the morning
Not a soul insight
The city's lookin' like a ghost town
On a moonless summer night
Raindrops on the windshield
There's a storm moving in
He's headin' back from somewhere
That he never should have been
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
Every light is burnin'
In a house across town
She's pacin' by the telephone
In her faded flannel gown
Askin' for miracle
Hopin' she's not right
Prayin' it's the weather
That's kept him out all night
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
The thunder rolls
And the lightnin' strikes
Another love grows cold
On a sleepless night
As the storm blows on
Out of control
Deep in her heart
The thunder rolls
She's waitin' by the window
When he pulls into the drive
She rushes out to hold him
Thankful he's alive
But on the wind and rain
A strange new perfume blows
And the lightnin' flashes in her eyes
And he knows that she knows
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
The thunder rolls
And the lightnin' strikes
Another love grows cold
On a sleepless night
As the storm blows on
Out of control
Deep in her heart
The thunder rolls
[3rd Verse:]
She runs back down the hallway
To the bedroom door
She reaches for the pistol
Kept in the dresser drawer
Tells the lady in the mirror
He won't do this again
Cause tonight will be the last time
She'll wonder where he's been

It's her first night on the town since she was just eighteen,
A lady down on love and out of hope and dreams.
The ties that once bound her now are broke away,
And she's like a baby, just learning how to play.
She never thought that love could ever end so soon.
Her mind drifts back in time to a mid-summer moon,
When he asked her to marry and she glady said O.K.
And a woman came to be from the girl of yesterday.
CHORUS:
Now she's a lady down on love.
She needs somebody to gentley pick her up.
She's got her freedom but she'd rather be bound
To a man who would love her and never let her down.
Well, I know a lady that's down on her love,
cause I used to hold her and have that special touch.
But work took me a way from home late at nights
And I wasn't there when she turned out the lights.
Then both of us got lonely and I gave into lust
And she just couldn't live with a man she couldn't trust.
CHORUS
Now she's a lady down on love.

Pocket Full of Gold
He slipped the ring off his finger
When he walked in the room
And he found him some stranger
And promised her the moon
How many lies you must have told
You think you're a rich man
With your pocket full of gold
For another man's treasure
You'd say anything
But is one night of pleasure
Worth the trouble you'll bring
Don't look so surprised
'Cause son I should know
I once was a rich man
With my pocket full of gold
Some night you're gonna wind up
On the wrong end of a gun
Some jealous guy's gonna show up
And you'll pay for what you've done
What will it say on your tombstone
Here lies a rich man
With his pocket full of gold
Yeah, here lies a rich man
With his pocket full of gold

"I Showed Her"
It's catching up to me right now
Everything that I've said
The night I left her there
When I said I wanted out
I was angry and upset
And at the time I could care less about staying there
I had to prove I didn't care
As much as she thought I did
[Chorus:]
I showed her
I let my pride take me
Far away from the only woman I loved
I showed her
Now she has found someone new
And her life will go on
And I'm all alone
But I showed her
Oh oh oh
I hate that she's in love
But it took a while for her to get over the hurt
Now I know that I messed up
I was trying to give us time
But I see she took that time to find somebody else
What happened to the things she felt for me
Am I really a part of her past
[Chorus:]
I showed her
I let my pride take me far away
From the only woman I loved
I showed her
Now she has found someone new
And her life will go on
And I'm all alone
But I showed her
Woah oh oh's
[Chorus]
Now she has found someone new
And her life will go on
And I'm all alone
But I showed her

I can really relate to this song..Really, Really!!
Lyin' Eyes
City girls just seem to find out early
How to open doors with just a smile
A rich old man
And she won't have to worry
She'll dress up all in lace and go in style
Late at night a big old house gets lonely
I guess ev'ry form of refuge has its price
And it breaks her heart to think her love is
Only given to a man with hands as cold as ice
So she tells him she must go out for the evening
To comfort an old friend who's feelin' down
But he knows where she's goin' as she's leavin'
She is headed for the cheatin' side of town
You can't hide your lyin' eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide your lyin eyes
On the other side of town a boy is waiting
with fiery eyes and dreams no one could steal
She drives on through the nice anticipating
'Cause he makes her feel the way she used to feel
She rushes to his arms,
They fall together
She whispers that it's only for awhile
She swears that soon she'll be comin' back forever
She pulls away and leaves him with a smile
You can't hid your lyin' eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't now way to hide you lyin' eyes
She gets up and pours herself a strong one
And stares out at the stars up in the sky
Another night, it's gonna be a long one
She draws the shade and hangs her head to cry
She wonders how it ever got this crazy
She thinks about a boy she knew in school
Did she get tired or did she just get lazy?
She's so far gone she feels just like a fool
My, oh my, you sure know how to arrange things
You set it up so well, so carefully
Ain't it funny how your new life didn't change things
You're still the same old girl you used to be
You can't hide your lyin eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes
There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes
Honey, you can't hide your lyin' eyes

TIGHT FITTIN' JEANS
She tried to hide it by the faded denim clothes she wore
But I knew she?d never been inside a bar before
I felt like a peasant who?d just met a queen
And she knew I saw right through her tight fittin? jeans
I asked her what?s a woman like you doing here
I see you?re used to champagne but I?ll buy you a beer
She said you?ve got me figured out but I?m not what I seem
For a dance I?ll tell you about these tight fittin? jeans
She said I married money I?m used to wearing pearls
But I?ve always dreamed of being just a good ole boys girl
So tonight I left those crystal candlelights to live a dream
And partner there?s a tiger in these tight fittin? jeans
We danced every dance and lord the beer that we went through
I?m satisfied I did my best to make her dream come true
As she played out her fantasy before my eyes it seems
A cowgirl came alive inside those tight fittin? jeans
In my mind she?s still a lady that?s all I?m gonna say
I knew that I?d been broken by the time we parted ways
And I know I held more woman than most eyes have ever seen
That night I knew a lady wearing tight fittin? jeans
Well now she?s back in her world and I?m still stuck in mine
But I know I?ll always remember the time
A cowboy once had a millionaires dream
And Lord I loved that lady wearing tight fittin? jeans
Ok, the song doesn't say they slept with each other, but I would put money on it..LOL
