    Talking

Kinda last minute here, however, I will be over at Geo's on Saturday the 24th around 9:00 am. Will be doing timing belt/water pump on a Sol there.
After that we'll be going to lunch and for a little drive afterwards... not really planning on a "signature-brent-style" fun run, but just a nice drive.

If anyone is interested email Geo or myself.

This will be the last time I am going to be able to hang with some of you for awhile, so come on out.

Well it took a little longer then we planned but we finally got it finished, found out it's a bear to lock up the flywheel (two person job holding it from turning) on an automatic sol so you can take off the engine pulley (good thing I just got that new impact wrench), broke a few tools trying, thanks to Sears for replacing them though (the guy at the counter sure asked us a lot of funny questions about them (screwdriver bent into an 'S' shape)), everything else was pretty much straight forward on doing it. Those that came: Brent, Pete, Darren and a friend of his, Robert who came over later and myself. Thanks guys for your support and help with it today.

    Well my take on it...

Was thinking that it was a "simple in and out"... nope. The auto trans can be a pain.
    Tools required for this:
Screw drivers (bent in funny ways) (3)
    1/2" to 3/4 adaptor (twisted) (1)
    Patience required (ton)
Funny "horse stories" to pass time (priceless)

Over all it was really fun, I had a great time.
Wish we could have hit some more twisties... but in a way happy that we did not.

Can't wait to catch up with everyone down the road.
Thanks again for all your help on this for all that showed up... way to "tag team" that auto.

Well I am outta here. I'll be in touch, and thanks again.

Hey Brent, I am still trying to get that money order to you. I had set aside your address, but now I am still looking for it. Shoot it off to me again. Thanks

Arron, Bret is now gone, went back in the service so there's no way to get in contact with him for awhile.
