Bill and Gary, good to see somone from Napali interact with this board. I've had a love-hate relationshiip with Napali for over 20 years and have purchased a large number of your videos. Some are very good, many are mediocre and a number are just god awfull. I have written to Ken Lloyd several times over the years and his response always came down to "all Napali videos are done as private commisions and I'm just giving the customer what He wants". My hope is that the new regime will be more responsive to the opinions of fans and customers. To put it simply, what we want to see is two attractive, evenly matched, large breasted women agressively fighting with their breasts. In my opinion Napali's claim to fame has never been their catfights or sexfights, as there are a number of video companies that do a better job in those catagories. But Napali was the place to go for titfighting. Where else could you see Ebony Ayes, Danni Ashe, Leanna Foxx, Kim Watson, Melissa Mounds, Beverly Hills and other busty women go at it breast to breast. Unfortunately, in recent years Napali seems to have moved away from what drew myself and others to your product. As others have stated, the videos are to friendly with to much emphasis on the sensuous. Napali needs to put the fight back into titfight. Now don't get me wrong, I fully understand that Napali videos are staged and I don't expect the performers to really hurt or injure one another. It's more about attitude, reactions, facial expressions and dialogue. I've been a fan of titfighting going back to the 8mm films of Curtis Dupont and John Cain along with what I like to call "old school Napali", so I know it's possible to produce a quality staged titfight video. Having said that, I must compliment Napali on it's website (especially the previews of new videos), making a large number of videos available for download and the release of the "Kim Klassics" videos. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a constructive dialogue and I look forward to your response. |

I agree the ability to preview the videos is extremely helpful and caused me to purchase several of the videos online. But they are way behind in getting the entire library online. They also seem to be deliberately holding back on certain actresses--Stephanie Rage is one; very few of her videos are available. And I agree the titfighting aspect has always been Napali's greatest strength and it does seem like that has been de-emphasized (from my perspective also I'm just not interested in seeing this activity between freakishly huge-breasted (i.e., fake-breasted) women. Napali achieved an ideal with women like Joi Reno, Stephanie Rage and others--beautiful women with fantastic breasts, some natural, many not, but always natural LOOKING and in classic proportion. Now it seems if those kind of women are in the videos the videos don't have them doing anything interesting. It may be that the audience just isn't there for the classic style of video Napali once made but I hope that's not the case. |

I have no problem with how your running currently. I even enjoy the freakishly huge breasted women who have popped up. I just wish more of the library was online.

I think the one thing we can agree on is we would like all the videos available to download. NONE of the Joi Reno/Leanna Fox videos are available, almost none of the Stephanie Rage videos...the meat and potatoes of Napali should be available to download...

Not everything is available for download yet, but it will be eventually. However, we think it's better for our people to have a hard copy of the movie to sit back on their couch and relax. I still like to watch my movies on a television and not on the computer.... but to each his own. I think I might take my catfights too seriously. HAHA!!! |

I think we would all like that luxury but for those who need to keep their collection hidden downloading solves a LOT of problems! Downloading is an instant "impulse buy" whereas I have to put a lot of thought and planning into any physical DVD I might buy.

Actually, almost all video cards (not on-board video) now have S-video output jacks and all TV's have S-video inputs. All you have to do is set up the video to use dual monitors, with the S-video being one of the "monitors". Then play the video from the computer to the S-video. It's not perfect, but the video is still pretty good quality. Another benefit is that really HUGE hard disks are now pretty cheap--a TERABYTE (1,000 GIGABYTES) for around U.S. $100. Even with DVD's it gets to be a pain having to store DOZENS and then manually flip through them to find the one you want. With downloads they can easily be organized. I am a member of AbbyWinters.com and I download about 1-3 videos PER DAY, which comes out to about 300-800 megs. That is about 40 videos per month. One reason why I got a large drive was that I was looking at offloading hundreds of videos to DVD's to clear room and the time it would have taken wasn't worth it. Plus, I had done that previously, so I do have probably 70 DVD's already. JTR |
