Hello, I'm a new member and I just came across a thread from six years ago where you were trying to remove the baffles on a pair of Heathkit AS-101s. I have a pair with different colors of grill cloth - one has tan thread in the vertical chain pattern, the other has black thread there. I've managed to buy a pair of empty cabinets, but I haven't figured out how to approach the swap. Did you have luck pulling the dampening material out and getting to screws that hold the baffle in place? Or did you end up with some other way of getting them out? Thanks for your help. Michael
