#45. I was just curiously, did the anime say his last name was 'Shields' or is it just a fanfic taboo? I know the anime last name is Chiba ... can anybody confirm that it is 'Shields'.

i know that in the tokyo-pop manga translation, his last name is Shields, and im pretty sure i remember his last name being Shields in the anime dub. makes sense since "mamoru" means to protect, ne?

The dubbed Anime, Tokyo-Pop's manga dub, and Animamerica have Darien's last name as Shields.

And then the Irwin names Corrin(Uranus), Nerissa(Neptune), Celia (Pluto), and one never stated for Hotaru.

Calli what is the answer for your question? Or better yet what manga was it in? I don't remember ever reading about Raye's father in the mangas.

According to U&M, her father belongs to the Liberal Democratic Party. From the manga, but I don't know which one. (probably an early one, but I can't be sure).

Callisto Star: Don't worry about the question, it was a good one. It just goes to show how much the anime had missed in terms of the background of the other scouts.
