    Pepsi girl:

Yes....creepy is the word for her, she made me clench my teeth. Even subsequent commercials where she was supposedly teaching a star how to sing, and those where she just said "duuuhhh"- creepy and unappealing.

Again, off topic on the Pepsi girl, I really didn't understand the whole concept.
    a) She's kinda homely.
    b) She can't lip sinc.
    c) She can't dance.

So I figured she must be some top exec's grandchild.

Yeah, the Pepsi Girl was quite annoying. Poor thing, she gets the Wesley Crusher treatment while a child. Hopefully she has loving parents.

I heard an anecdote about the actor who played Wesley showing up at a Trek convention discussion group where they were totally bashing him. Of course, he was adult when this happened, and had some fun by piping up with a comment that "He wasnt THAT bad!", the room went into dead silence. smile

Old Wesley showed up on the "Invisible Man" last week. Played a villainous computer hacker.

I just got a flyer from Slanted Fedora Entertainment (www.sfedora.com). They put on good scifi conventions -- mostly Trek oriented -- across the country. I went to one last year that was excellent. It included live theatrical presentation by Armin Shimmerman and Rene Auberjonois (Quark and Odo) as well as appearances by all the Ferengi family. (I posted a long description of this convention on SFV2, if anyone is interested.) Slanted Fedora's convention schedule this year includes a convention in Connecticut this spring with Brent Spiner (Data), Gates McFadden (Dr. Crusher), Wil Wheaton (Wesley), and Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar). B5's Claudia Christian (Ivanova) and Mary Kay Adams (Na'Toth) are also appearing. There is also a mega convention in Vegas in September. If anyone is into Trek conventions, check out their website. cool

Darn! I missed Wil Wheaton? I HATE the move of Invisible Man and Farscape to Mondays. I work Monday and Thursday evenings and never remember to tape. I would have liked to have seen that ep. And I'm one of the few people in the world who liked Wesley for the most part. I decided it wasn't his fault the writers overdid him.

Reg Black Scorpion and Jules Verne - yuck! Well, Scorpion, anyway. I've seen all of one episode and portions of others. I'm turned off on this one. Jules Verne couldn't keep me past the opening scenes. Someone (I forget who) mentioned earlier in this thread that the actors were too young. That's probably what bothered me. From what I saw I didn't want to keep watching those insipid people, even with a promise of seeing John Rhys David at sometime during the show. Is he a regular on it, or was he a guest?

Love the Iman, but can't stand this year's villainess. I hope they don't have too many eoisodes with her. Every time she spits out all that water, I want to throw up.

    Jandy,

I'm sure it's a typo, but, just in case you're under the wrong impression Farscape is still on Fridays. Lexx and Invisible Man moved from Friday to Monday and Cade Foster (Damn now I can't remember the name of the show) moved from Sunday to Monday
