Let's just say that I have to tell everyone, everytime, that my last name rhymes with squirrel. That gets a laugh, but they pronounce it correctly from then on.

RL names - my last name is often pronounced "crumb" (which is incorrect, but hey...). Because of this I have been asked if I considered naming my children things like "Bread, Cookie, or Stale". Can you imagine registration for college using the name Stale?????

Apropos of nothing whatever, I must wonder why there is never anyone on Zocolo when I am here. I have checked my 'puter for halitosis, but that doesn't seem to be the answer.
