I have been thinking about some of my favorite scenes/dialoge in B5 and thought it might be fun if we each shared some of ours.

From The War Prayer
I loved this scene, it foreshadows a lot about Londo and was very moving to me.
Vir: Kiron may die because our "glorious" tradition values wealth and power over love.
Londo: My shoes are too tight.
Vir: Excuse me?
Londo: Something my father said. He was old, very old at the time. I went into his room, and he was sitting alone in the dark, crying. So I asked him what was wrong, and he said, "My shoes are too tight, but it doesn't matter, because I have forgotten how to dance." I never understood what that meant until now. My shoes are too tight, and I have forgotten how to dance.

I think the flat out, best scene in B5 occurs in No Surrender, No Retreat...
The scene between Londo and G'Kar in G'Kar's room made my hair stand on end. G'Kar's silence, Londo's speech. Friendship... Adversaries... Men...
Both actors are of such a high caliber that this scene is electric and poignent in it's simplicity and complexity.

One of the most moving scenes for me was when the Centaurii fleet begins bombarding Narn with rail guns, and Londo's face as he realizes what he has done.

Ivanova's "Hand of God" speech, Delenn's "Only One Earthforce Captain" speech, and Old Delenn chewing up and spitting out the panel in Deconstruction of Falling Stars.

Ahhh yes...
Garibaldi takes a shot glass, JMS turns out the lights...
"Boom today" as Ivanova would have said.
Time to go cry for a while now.....

I loved the Sinclair G'Kar interaction throughout season 1. You start with the pilot where Sinclair tells G'Kar that he has planted a homing device in G'Kar. The look on G'Kar's face when Garibaldi pointed at him and went "Beep Beep" was priceless, almost as good as the look on Londo's face trying to figure it out what it meant.
Then there is the scene in Midnight on the Firing Line when Sinclair pretty much challenges G'Kar to a fight in the arboritum prior to the Council meeting to discuss sanctions against the Narn for attacking the Centauri.
Now move to By Any Means Necessary where G'Kar and Sinclair end up discussing more spirtual matters, and the procurment of the G'Quan Et plant in council chambers. Sinclair is able to find a nice way to satisfy G'Kar's religious obligations.
Its not that any one scene was great (I liked them all) but how far the relationship had come and the forshadowing of G'Kar's over all transformation that I enjoy.

One scene that stands out the most.....
In Parliment of Dreams, Londo's performance at the Centauri display of religion "But in purple I am stunning" for pure humor.
G'Kar's speech to the council when he was stripped of his title after the Centauri conquored Narn in the Long Twilight Struggle.
"No dictator... no invader... can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against that power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free."
Most powerful, for me, was when Babylon 5 is destroyed in Sleeping in the Light.

One of my favorites, while simple, is also very profound (for me)
Zathras "No, not The One. This is wrong tool."
Reminds me of CNTL-ALT-DEL...
