What's a "zocolo"?
And thanks for the welcome on the intro thread. I feel like SUCH a newbie.

I believe that a "zocolo" is a South American (or Mexican) marketplace. It was also the name given to the marketplace area on the space station Babylon 5.
According to http://www.dictionary.com it should be spelled "zocalo" - shows what they know! LOL!

Yeah, crazy, it is named after a market area on the SciFi show Babylon 5, but I mis-spelled it when I asked for the board, but since mis-spelling is sort of a badge of honor in our merry band, I left it uhm...As Is

The Zocalo was our playground at Sci Fi Sites (the last baord we posted at) So it was a natural choice to name our new play place the Zocalo. as the others said, we stole it from Babylon 5.

We didn't actually steal it. We transported it here after Babylon5 and SFV were destroyed.
