I just saw your posts, Polly. I have no idea, but do guinea pigs get diabetes? Is Koa peeing a lot, too? Do they get thyroid problems? Her supplement sounds a lot like those for humans with "the dwindles."

Not much new on my health front. The horrible anxiety suddenly eased, but I'm expecting it to make a return as the 29th gets closer. Even yesterday had its rough moments.

Syc, sorry to hear about that anxiety. My dad has it pretty bad at times. Can I ask...whats up with the 29th? Why is that significant?

Oops, sorry, Nommy. I thought I had mentioned earlier on the my "urgent" (LOL!) appointment with the neurosurgeon is the 29th--5 weeks out! Oh, well... Had it come sooner, I might not have had any relief from the anxiety. :-)

Thanks for the good thoughts, AsIs. Hope everybody is praying for me or working magick or whatever you subscribe to on that day!!

Wow!! Hostboard is back and so am I!!

I saw the neurosurgeon today and he told me exactly what I wanted to hear--and I didn't even have to pay extra to hear that!! He said that as long as there are no neurological symptoms, don't worry about anything. As far as any pain, surgery only when I say it's really bad (you can guess about how soon that will be!!). I don't have to keep thinking of myself as being fragile in some way. Yippee!!

I think, also, I have learned my lesson--quit putting fun after all the "gotta-dos" and "oughta-dos." I'm out to the stable, climbing wall, or gymnastics gym!!
