    Syc,

Nope, not Toronto. Is there a York street in Toronto? I bet there is.

I am going to Stratford for the theatre festival for my yearly Shakespeare indulgence. Bee is giving me a ride from her place after I visit her for the weekend in Pennsylvania. I am so looking forward to sharing Stratford with a friend. I have been visiting it for ten years. It is almost like a second hometown for me.

We are going to have a total blast!!!

That's what I thought at first, then I thought the two of you must be making the Grand Tour to include Toronto. I'm looking forward to your annual review of what you saw in Stratford! "The next best thing to being there!"

So, Syc, are you up to driving over for a visit while Polly is here? You are only about 4 hours away.

If my calendar serves me rightly, Polly's birthday is Aug 20th. I'll have to come up with a suitable celebration.

Aaron and I went to the Great Lakes Medieval Faire in Geneva, Ohio, last Saturday. We had a very good time. We saw Hack and Slash, a comedy swahbuckling team. One of the things I liked best was the Birds of Prey show put on by a master falconer. Aaron was going to buy a wooden sword but ended up buying 2 baby dragon lizards instead. (Live crickets are going to be a way of life for the next few years, supposing the dog doesn't get hold of the lizards and eat them.)

I did take photos. One of these days I'll get them and the Shore Leave photos up on the web. It's a matter of sitting here and plugging things into a template and then checking to make sure all the links work.

Good heavens, Syc. You're getting farther away all the time. I heard from Greenie today. Thank goodness,I was beginning to worry about her. She's busy as a bee as usual.

    NEWS FLASH !

    I'm going back to school!

I will be working toward an associate degree in Network Administration at a local business school. Right now it looks like that will be Erie Business Center. There is a small chance that it will be Tri State Business Institute.

After so many months out of work with little on the local job market that falls in the areas of my expertise (QA/QC/Engineering), I decided I might as well go further into debt pursuing a field that I'm truly interested in.

Cross your fingers for me, folks! It's going to be "starving student" time again. Fortunately, with my previous schooling to draw upon, it should only take me about 16 months. And, hey!, the first 4 months of that, I'll still be eligible for unemployment monies.
