Well, turns out that one of the three competing in the Masters Class appealed the final standings, based on his time being 10 minutes off. Apparently there were two other planes at the same time with the same timing error. And, to make things a little more interesting, the appeal was granted, giving us 2nd place instead of first. The guy who appealled the places has always won in the masters class since it was started, so he was interested in keeping his perfect record.

So, we give up the plaques, and will offer the cash reward to the new winner. *sigh* He may or may not accept the check...

Don't worry about including the sig- it's not annoying, it just caught my attention that one time. I also doubt that the moderator should worry about repostings, since SFX have pretty much left JMS alone for the last 2 years or so. Unless he says something *very* scandalous, controversial or otherwise deeply interesting in a tabloid kinda way, I doubt they'd bother him.

On JMS, he takes things very personally from what we know of his reactions. And it seems he holds grudges for a very long time.

While checking out the "Introductions" topic (one day I'll finally finish reading all the topics here, but right now, it's one at a time!)- I came across Azziz revealing CommunityZero and the Crossroads site. Whatever happened to that? Whatever happened to Crossroads?

I would love to get back into Crossroads, especially now I have much regular internet access and can spend some time developing my character. Does the Dragon's Inn still exist?

Crossroads sort of died due to lack of posting. Neither Crash, nor I had the energy to keep everyone posting and it seemed that was what it would take to keep the site active. If you or anyone is interested in resurrecting the site, please feel free.

Too much to do, and not enough time to do it? Panhistoria, SciFiVine(reincarnated), Cross-roads, Hostboard, etc. (I'm sure I've left one or two out). With so many, it's hard to stay in touch with everyone, you end up running around
trying to stay in touch, and get overloaded.

Plus, real life tends to get in the way. Many may disagree, but one's enough for me.

Which is all fair enough! I wonder if anyone kicking around here fancies doing group role-plays though, or is a member of such a group and would let me join in. I really miss doing the group writing thing. Plus I want to resurrect Endellion!
