That's Rock and Roll ( I think Eric Carmen penned it) would be a great cover. I'd like to hear Cherie do 'Drive-in Saturday' or 'Queen Bitch' (Bowie) 'Under my Wheels' or 'Woman Machine' (A.Cooper). Something off Badfingers' 'Straight Up' would be cool. How about 'Baby Strange' (T.Rex). I think something like 'Just What I Needed'(Cars) might work also.

This is a most fun post. Perhaps a cover album might not be that bad afterall - so long as we shy away from "Love Hurts." Nothing against Cherie, just the song.
That's Rock 'n' Roll, Cooper's Woman Machine (from Muscle of Love) and Heart's "Little Queen" are all excellent suggestions in my book.

This is an old topic I found from the bowels of the board. An oldie but a goodie and I just thought of a new one for Cherie to cover. Waiting For the Night. Always wondered what that would of sounded like with Cherie singing it.

good idea izzster! in fact, too good!! while she's at it she could also cover 'Fantasies' with a bunch of trademark groans and moans...
what about something soft-rock-ish and non-committal like Heart's 'Little Queen'?
why not i ask you??

Ok... I have been called wierd before so I'll just jump in here and say I would like to hear Cherie sing Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead Or Alive", Or Suzi Quatro's "Cat Size" or "Devil Gate Drive"... And The Album could be called "Recovery" (get it, a cover album called Recovery)...I make myself laugh ...
