I thought there wasn't going to be anyone playing Jackie, that there was just going to be someone playing a sort of composite base player. I hope Jackie is portrayed in the movie as she's an important part of the story - in my opinion anyway.

And Gus, those photos of Cherie and Joan with the young actresses playing were amazing. You're doing a great job keeping us up to date. Having just watched 'Frost/Nixon' I'm wondering how much impersonation and how much interpretation we'll be getting.

Thanks Paul but, credit where credit is due, most of the time I'm just passing along info that our friend Wasted, on The Runaways board, finds!

Several peeps there are helping us keep up to date about the movie and google alerts are a big help too!

I am hoping this rumor about Scout Taylor-Compton portraying Jackie, in the film, is a sign that Jackie has embraced the idea after all!

BTW, Stella Maeve has been spotted arriving at the studio, with her copy of the script in hand!

Luv ya too Jettster. Don't know if anyone has caught this yet, but I think they figured out the solution of having Dakota play Cherie and who was going to play her twin sister Marie? This may be it.

Yep! From what I understand, employing artistic license, they've decided that Cherie and Marie are going to be FRATERNAL twins, rather than identical twins, for the movie. That's Danielle Riley Keough, as Marie.
She is Elvis Presley's granddaughter, by the way!
