An associate of mine Steve Dennison aka ChiliD from Long Beach, California would like to share the following story with you all....

My Lita Ford story:

I was working at Record Bar in the Lakewood (CA) Mall.

A station wagon pulled up to our outside door, a girl (about 16 or 17) gets out and comes in the store, she asked if we had the new issue of CREEM magazine.

We hadn't gotten it yet, so I said (since I recognized her), "Sorry, Lita, hasn't come in yet, usually get them in on {whatever the next day was}. Do you live around here?". She seemed shocked that I knew who she was.

Then she muttered, "Yeah, on {such & such} street. Ok, thanks, see you tomorrow." and left...looked like it was her mom driving the station wagon (and maybe her little brother in the car, too). The next day when the magazine arrived, opened it to find:
