Floria Sigismondi (born 1965 in Pescara, Italy) is a photographer and director. Apart from her art exhibitions she is best known for directing music videos for Christina Aguilera, Muse, Billy Talent, Interpol, The White Stripes, David Bowie, Sigur R?s, Sheryl Crow, The Cure, Bj?rk, Amon Tobin, Marilyn Manson, Living Things and Incubus. Her trademark dilating, jittery camerawork, noticeable as early as her video for Manson's "The Beautiful People", has been replicated by a great number of directors since.
According with her official website Floria is currently working on her first feature film. She is both writing and directing this film, which is a coming of age story based on the '70s all girl rock n roll band, The Runaways.

That's a big 10-4 on this movie. I remember when the LIGHT OF DAY came out. I went and saw that 10 times with friends [img]cool.gif[/img] Alot of fun fer sure.
Sorry I haven't been around for the last few days. I've been sick, I had an allergic reaction to a medicine I took for a cold and almost ended up in ER thank GAWD I'm feeling better.

I heard, through the grapevine, that this movie is coming along, on schedule.
I can't wait till it's here for us to see! I hope there is a soundtrack album too,
as the movie is bound to generate a lot of interest in The Runaways music!

Tell me about Neon Angels, the movie you and Kenny are producing. Is that going to chronicle the rise of The Runaways, and do you have any thoughts as to who would play you?
I see it more as a snapshot of the band, rather than a chronology. It may take place over a weekend, a few months or one particular tour. I don't know who'll be playing me yet, but I'm hoping that they'll be auditioning many, many teenage girls, because I know we want this to be as realistic as possible.
