Hi Cherie Currie fans,

I just wanted to ask if anyone (besides me) ever sent a SASE to Renaissance Records back in '97 when the 'Messin' With The Boys' cd was released. The address was on the CD booklet.

If you did, did anyone ever get a response??? Just curious.

Yes, I did send a SASE to the address in the CD booklet. Within 2 weeks I received 2 8x10s(one of Cherie, one of Marie), autographed and personalized to me, and a nice letter from Marie thanking me for my note. It was a great surprise.

The items you received sound incredible. I on the other hand, was not a successful. Along with my SASE, I had sent a handwritten (remember them) 2-page letter, and received no response whatsoever.

You can imagine my disappointment, but I always wondered what Renaissance sent out. Thanks again for clearing that up!!

Was just wondering if you ever heard anything more on this topic. I know there was only 1 post otehr than you, but maybe a private message from that 'special someone'? Just curious. Seems pretty sad that you wrote all that and no response, no autograph, nothing. Maybe the people at Renaissance never passed it along? Just got me thinking....
